Kimmel gives Mesnick, Malaney a hot tub

Jimmy Kimmel jokingly gifted Bachelor couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney with a hot tub during their appearance on his show last night.

The couple, who fell in love on the 13th instalment of the ABC romance reality show, married in California last weekend, with the ceremony being aired on the network last night.

"We were thinking, 'What is the perfect gift for a couple who met on The Bachelor?'" joked Kimmel.

"We bought this today on Craigslist and got quite a deal on it. Congratulations! We got you a hot tub! As you can see, it's lovely... We would like you to conceive the child in the ABC hot tub and then release the child to us!"

Mesnick and Malaney also confirmed during their chat that they will heading to South Africa for their honeymoon, before settling together in Seattle.

When Kimmel joked that the rain in Seattle would "mask" Mesnick's tears, Malaney responded: "Actually, the only time I have ever seen him cry is at our wedding."

Mesnick added: "That was kind of interesting because - most people don't get to see this - but [my son] Ty ran out and tackled me, and right after that Molly showed up at the top of the staircase and I started bawling all over again. Way to be me!"
