Hightower 'not surprised at Bachelor split'

Chelsie Hightower has reportedly said that she was "not necessarily surprised" to learn about Bachelor couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi's split.

The professional dancer was teamed with Pavelka on the tenth season of Dancing With The Stars earlier this year.

"I'm not necessarily surprised that they broke up," she told People. "I think it would be hard to get to know anybody on a reality TV show.

"To get to know who they really were, with the pressure of the cameras and the other contestants and all the other factors that add into it."

She continued to say that she got to know both Pavelka and Girardi through the show and "they are both good people and [I] hope that they find better matches for themselves. They have to find people who inspire them to be better than they already are".

Pavelka proposed to Girardi in the season finale of the ABC romance reality show's 14th instalment but the couple recently announced that they have ended their engagement.
