The former Bachelor and Dancing With The Stars contestant recently announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Tye Strickland.
Speaking to ET Online, she said: "Obviously I just want a healthy baby but if I could pick, I would love a little boy! And Tye would love a little girl! I think that theory comes from me knowing what I was like as a little girl!"
She added that the couple have not discussed names yet but joked that it will "probably be a long, gruelling battle" once they discover the sex of the baby.
Rycroft also spoke about her upcoming role as co-host of ABC's Bachelor Pad alongside Chris Harrison, describing the show as a "wonderful mix" of Bachelor/Bachelorette, Big Brother and Survivor.
Bachelor Pad premieres this Monday on ABC.
