'Bachelorette' Harris, Swiderski "in love"

Bachelorette couple Ed Swiderski and Jillian Harris have insisted that they are "extremely in love" despite tabloid reports of trouble in their relationship.

The reality stars were quizzed about rumours that Swiderski had cheated on his fiancée during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday.

"In every sense of the word, I was a bachelor before I went on the show," Swiderski explained.

"I'm not perfect, I'm a human being and we have had some ups and downs in our relationship.

"I'm sure a lot of people want to know all the details about our relationship, but there are some things that we don't want to share with the public that we worked out together."

Harris went on to admit that their romance had not been "the fantasy that everybody sees out there," explaining: "I think that's what a lot of people have a problem with - it goes from being so perfect to not so perfect."

Swiderski added: "Jillian is one of the most intelligent women that I've ever met in my life and I highly doubt she would ever be with someone who is not a good person.

"We have been very clear with each other. We know the truth about what happened and that's all that matters... We want everyone to know that we are extremely happy and in love."
