Harris redecorates Swiderski 'bachelor pad'

Bachelorette star Jillian Harris has revealed that she gave fiancé Ed Swiderski's Chicago home a makeover ahead of the couple moving in together.

Speaking to People, the interior designer explained that Swiderski's one-bedroom condo was a "total bachelor pad" when she first saw it.

"There was a lot of brick and dark brown leather and wood. There were socks and underwear lying around the place," she said.

"[I went to] Pottery Barn, Z Gallerie and Bed, Bath and Beyond. I tried to keep it masculine, but I replaced some of his dark brown cushions with some cream and light green to lighten it up a bit."

When asked what he thought of Harris's makeover, Swiderski replied: "I liked it. There are things I like but would never go out of my way to shop for, like pillows. I just don't do that. But I like it a lot."

Harris added that she is now "looking forward to some sort of normalcy" in their relationship and having a "real life again".
