Bukowski, who is currently starring on ABC's Bachelor Pad, appeared in the same season as the couple but was sent home by Maynard after the hometown dates.
He has now said that he "absolutely" thinks Holm and Maynard - who got engaged on The Bachelorette's season finale - make a good couple.
"Jef was, I would say, probably one of my best friends in the house and I got to know him very, very well," Bukowski explained. "I feel like they're very compatible.
"It was kind of weird, but I heard a lot about the relationship while I was still on the show with them, and I just felt like they're very compatible. I mean, they look great together, and I really do believe it could work out between the two of them. I hope it does."
Bukowski also admitted that he is grateful that Maynard recently stood up for him on Twitter after his controversial behaviour on Bachelor Pad.
"I keep in touch with Jef," he said. "I haven't really talked to Emily too much, but she has supported me on Twitter - I thank her so much for that.
"I talk to Jef once in a while. They're obviously pretty busy doing a lot of things and helping out the world, so I'm definitely supportive of what they're doing!"
Bachelor Pad continues Mondays on ABC.
