Speaking to Access Hollywood Live, the Celebrity Apprentice contestant stated that she has formed a very close bond with Prince Michael, Paris, and Prince Michael II.
"They're doing really fine. I'm very proud of them and very happy and excited that they have adjusted so well," she said.
The star added: "[Life without Michael] can be challenging and interesting, but they have done a marvelous job of adjusting and I'm very happy. They're all doing well."
La Toya, who scored a US dance hit with 'Free The World' in 2005, went on to reveal that Michael's eldest son Prince Michael is considering an acting career.
She added: "Two weeks ago when I was with Prince he told me, 'Aunt La Toya, I want to be an actor. I want to start acting'. I go, 'You're kidding. You do?'... He went on and on. I said, 'OK, I'll support you - whatever you want to do'."
Last month, Michael's children claimed they would like to emulate the 'Thriller' singer's career.
