Badgley 'lucky to work with Lively'

Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley has claimed that he is "lucky" to work with girlfriend Blake Lively.

The actor, who plays Dan Humphrey in the CW drama, told Us Weekly that he appreciates being able to work alongside Lively (Serena Van Der Woodsen).

"We're lucky. I mean, some would say it's a double-edged sword, but in our case we manage to balance it well," he explained.

Lively recently joked that she had "poisoned" her fellow castmates against Badgley after learning that he had been cast as her on-screen love interest. The pair met when she was just 11 years old.
