Kelly Rutherford 'loves Christmas shopping'

Kelly Rutherford has revealed that she enjoys personally picking out Christmas gifts for her family and friends.

Speaking to CelebBuzz, the Gossip Girl actress explained that she enjoys giving more than receiving during the festive season.

"I love to shop for friends and family and gift-giving is the most fun," she said.

Rutherford added that she looks forward to celebrating Christmas with her family this year.

The star noted: "Yes, we cook and decorate the tree. My parents have a party every year with their friends, and my brother and I invite our friends as well. Everyone looks forward to it each year."

She concluded by suggesting that her favourite holiday gift is "the time [she] gets to spend with [her] family", adding: "It's always family and health."
