The politician took to his Twitter account yesterday to send his birthday wishes to the reality star ahead of her 23rd birthday today.
She replied: "Thank you Johnny! :) (sic)"
Snooki later added: "Everyone get real with given @SenJohnMcCain bs for wishing me happy bday, fricken weirdos. #teammccain :) thanks."
This is not the first time the pair have conversed over the social networking website. They previously spoke when Snooki criticised a proposal to tax tanning beds, prompting Senator McCain to reply: "I would never tax ur tanning bed! O's tax policy is quite The Situation. but I do rec wearing sunscreen! (sic)"
The reality star also thanked the politician over the summer after he said that she was "too attractive" for jail following her arrest for public drunkenness in July. "Thanks for having my back!" she wrote in response to his comment. "I'm going to make you part of my family. Grandpa Snooki for President!"
It was recently reported that Snooki's birthday celebrations at Pacha in New York will be sponsored by condom company LifeStyles.
