The reality star told MTV News that she "hates fighting" but was proud of herself for sticking up for herself during filming of the MTV show.
"For someone who fights all the time to somebody who doesn't fight, I'm a little proud of myself for just sticking up," she explained.
"That's just who I am, I stick up for myself. I don't care if I win, I don't care if I lose - I'm just stern in my beliefs and my opinions."
Sammi clashed with her female co-stars during the second season of the MTV reality show after they penned an anonymous note informing her that boyfriend Ronnie had allegedly been unfaithful. The drama continued on last week's third season premiere when she and JWoww became embroiled in a catfight on their first night back in Seaside Heights.
It was recently rumoured that Sammi and Ronnie have since ended their relationship, although they have yet to officially comment on the speculation.
Sammi previously admitted on GMA that having to relive their fights on TV could be stressful and suggested that viewers should watch the show "to really get a feel of how [their] relationship pans out".
Jersey Shore airs Thursdays on MTV.
