Snooki was taken into police custody, but not formally arrested, earlier this week after accidentally running into the back of a police cruiser while driving in Florence.
Italian authorities have now confirmed that the Jersey Shore star has been stripped of her international driving privileges as a result of the crash, WENN reports.
Snooki will not be able to get behind the wheel during the duration of filming of Jersey Shore's fourth season in Italy, but her New York State licence will not be impacted in any way.
"Any accidents that occur in a foreign country do not affect a person's driver licence in New York State," a New York State Department of Motor Vehicles spokesperson told TMZ.
Jersey Shore's fourth run faced two major production delays in May, first because of a "logistical problem" and later due to a visit to Florence by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano.
