Abercrombie & Fitch issued a press release this week, saying that it had offered The Situation a "substantial payment" to stop wearing the company's garments over brand image concerns.
The Situation has denied receiving any financial offer from Abercrombie & Fitch, telling TMZ: "Nobody's contacted me in any way... and that's pretty crazy, you're gonna pay someone not to wear something? Call me up, man!"
The Jersey Shore star went on say that he still likes Abercrombie & Fitch clothing, but then slated the retailer by saying: "I don't think people are supporting them anymore. I heard their stock dropped pretty badly."
The Situation's co-stars Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino have both criticised Abercrombie & Fitch's attempts to disassociate itself with Jersey Shore, while an MTV representative branded the matter a "PR stunt".
Jersey Shore continues with new episode 'Crime and Punishment' on Thursday on MTV.
