'Jersey Shore' star Snooki: 'The Situation is broke'

Jersey Shore star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has suggested that Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is having financial problems.

Snooki revealed in a new interview with GQ that she has already begun planning for life after Jersey Shore, unlike some of her co-stars.

"Jersey Shore is going to end soon. I'm not going to spend money like Mike. He's already broke," the reality star claimed.

The Situation recently launched his own line of tuxedos and also endorses shoes, alcohol and fitness DVDs.

Snooki told the magazine that she would like to see less drinking shown on Jersey Shore, but added that she doesn't expect public perception of the group as partiers to change much.

"Jersey Shore is always going to be Jersey Shore," she added. "If you want to break away you have to do something not with Jersey Shore."

Snooki previously commented that she is very excited to be starring in a spinoff series with Jersey Shore co-star Jenni 'JWoww' Farley.
