Deena was cited for disorderly conduct in June for allegedly "dancing wasted in the middle of the street", but managed to avoid jail time by pleading guilty to a lesser charge of a pedestrian violation for not walking on the sidewalk.

Speaking to Page Six, Joann suggested that daughter Deena's behaviour was no worse than many other revelers who party on the Jersey Shore.
"Kids go to the Shore for the summer and things tend to get out of hand," Joann explained. "This is what happens, they go a little overboard... but Deena knows how to work, she isn't just party-party."
Deena was required to pay $106 as well as $33 in court costs in order to resolve the case.
She expressed regret for her behaviour in court by apologising if she'd "caused any trouble".
Deena joins Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino and Pauly D in the upcoming sixth season of Jersey Shore, which airs later this year on MTV.
