'Jersey Shore' The Situation poses for PETA: 'Too much p***y is bad'

By
Jersey Shore star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino has posed shirtless for a new PETA advert warning that "too much p***y can be a bad thing".

The Celebrity Big Brother lothario cradles a cat for a campaign by the animal rights group encouraging owners to spay or neuter their pets.

The image aims to promote animal adoption and spread the message that fighting overpopulation in animals will save lives, stressing that "dogs and cats need safe sex, too".

Recalling a visit to an animal shelter organised by PETA, Sorrentino said: "It definitely was overcrowded, and I learned that there's been a problem, and it's a growing problem. Fix your animals."

Sorrentino has recently opened up about his ongoing struggle with a painkiller dependency and experiences in rehab.

"All I can do is take it one day at a time," he said. "This is the healthiest I've been in a very long time."
