Paula Abdul sells Sherman Oaks home

Paula Abdul is selling her home in Sherman Oaks following the suicide of Paula Goodspeed.

The 30-year-old Abdul fan overdosed on pills in her car outside the American Idol judge's house last month.

"Paula simply feels she has outgrown her house, and given the recent public disclosure of her address, it seemed time that she move into a gated community," a representative told Us magazine.

Goodspeed auditioned for American Idol in 2006, but failed to get past the first round after being criticised by the judges for her rendition of 'Proud Mary'.
