Eze, who placed tenth in season seven of the talent show, was arrested in February after attempting to purchase goods using "fraudulent means" at Los Angeles store Neiman Marcus.
TMZ reports that the 24-year-old made a deal with prosecutors and pled 'no contest' to misdemeanour identity theft charges.
In addition to probation and community labour, Eze has been banned from the Neiman Marcus store in which he was arrested.
A representative for the star has yet to comment.
