Tyler: 'My father would be good AI judge'

Liv Tyler has claimed that her father Steven Tyler would make a great choice as judge on American Idol.

The Aerosmith star has been rumoured to be replacing Simon Cowell's coveted spot on the series for several weeks, although it has as yet to be officially confirmed.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, she said: "My father would be a good judge of anything."

Tyler's Aerosmith bandmate Tom Hamilton recently suggested that "the ink is dry" on the frontman's show contract.
