'Dancing with the Stars' Mark Ballas splits from 'American Idol' Pia Toscano

The pair apparently began dating in April after being introduced by mutual friend and WWE star Chris Jericho, but both Toscano and Ballas chose not to discuss their relationship in public.
A friend of the couple has claimed that Toscano and Ballas did indeed date for several months, but recently called it quits.
The source told People: "They both decided with everything going on that they couldn't give each other what would be fair. They mutually decided this."
A representative for Toscano chose not to comment on reports that the singer and Ballas have split.
Ballas has been paired with former Hills star Kristin Cavallari for the new season of Dancing with the Stars, which premieres on Monday, September 19 at 8/7c on ABC.
Toscano released her debut single 'This Time' in July.
