'American Idol' star James Durbin marries girlfriend Heidi Lowe

Durbin and Lowe tied the knot in front of family and friends on New Year's Eve (December 31) in California's Santa Cruz Mountains, the rocker's spokesperson told People.
The couple said in a joint statement to the website: "We are so in love and happy that we got to share our special day with our closest family and friends.
"This wedding was the perfect way to kick off the New Year. We are looking forward to living happily ever after."
Fellow former American Idol contestants Casey Abrams, Stefano Langone and Haley Reinhart were all in attendance as Queensr’che frontman Geoff Tate serenaded the newlyweds.
Durbin and Lowe have dated for several years and are the parents of 2-year-old son Hunter, who was ring bearer for the ceremony.
The musician previously revealed that he and Lowe favoured a "a very small wedding" in order to keep their vows intimate.
Durbin released his first studio album Memories of a Beautiful Disaster in November.
