Carey's spokesperson has now officially denied those claims to Gossip Cop, calling rumours of a rift "ridiculous".
The 'Triumphant' singer gave birth to her and Cannon's twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011.
Carey more recently signed on as the latest American Idol judge for a reported $17 million (£11 million) salary.
Cannon has praised his wife's American Idol hiring, saying that she will be "amazing" on the Fox series.
