Osbourne 'hid feminine side to please dad'

Kelly Osbourne has confessed that she hid her feminine side while growing up in order to please her rock star father Ozzy.

The Dancing with the Stars contestant claimed that her appearance on the talent show has brought out a different side to her personality.

Contactmusic quotes Osbourne as saying: "You're definitely seeing a softer side of me and it's a side I've always been afraid to show because God forbid, Ozzy Osbourne's daughter be girly rather than a punk.

"For the last 23 years of my life I have been called moody and now I can't stop myself from smiling."

Osbourne also revealed that she has enjoyed dancing the tango with partner Louis Van Amstel, saying: "The tango is supposed to be a really serious dance but I can't stop giggling, although I feel there is a lot of pressure on me. I don't want to look dumb."

The 24-year-old added that dancing is now her preferred method of working out.

"Looking at people sweating, pretending to look sexy with make-up in Los Angeles gyms is not for me," she said.

"But dancing is different. And it's fun because it's a progression - every day you keep getting better."
