The Dancing with the Stars couple said that the break-up is mutual, according to People. They apparently needed "some time apart".
Hough and Wicks, both country music singers, are expected to attend Wednesday's Country Music Association Awards show. Wicks, 30, is covering the event for Entertainment Tonight and 21-year-old Hough is a presenter.
The pair were considering marriage last year, Hough announced.
"The minute we met it was perfect," she stated, adding: "The first date we had we both had that feeling like we were going to fall in love with each other."
