The couple, who were partnered on the ABC competition last season, were rumoured to have split earlier this week.
Speaking to ET Online at last night's Country Music Association Awards, Wicks said: "Obviously there's been a lot of rumours about Julianne and I and our breakup... but tonight is about the music.
"Julianne and I are going to address what's going on in our personal life together. I think that's the only right way to do it and we'll make a statement on that."
He added: "Julianne is actually my date tonight, so it's all good man. We're going to have a good time and we will address it together, but right now we're going to have a lot of fun."
Wicks attended the event as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, while Hough presented an award.
