Grey: 'Husband swayed me against Botox'

Dancing With The Stars contestant Jennifer Grey has revealed that her husband convinced her to never have Botox treatments.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the Dirty Dancing actress admitted that she recently considered undergoing cosmetic surgery.

"Before the show [Dancing With The Stars], I thought, 'Oh, I should get some Botox, get rid of the wrinkles under my eyes'," she said. "When you put [on] a lot of make-up, the lines become very apparent."

Grey explained that she was quickly dissuaded from the idea by her spouse Clark Gregg, who told her "not to touch anything, to be who I am, because I look great".

The star further confessed that her husband's affirmation led her to become more comfortable with ageing.

She concluded: "Ageing is inevitable and the idea that we can be eternally youthful is the pitfall of our society. When my body and face were perfect as far as youth, I wasn't happy. If you try to hold on to something you don't have anymore, you can't be happy in the moment."

Dancing With The Stars airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on ABC.
