The website reports that the Dirty Dancing actress and Dancing With The Stars winner went under the knife to repair a ruptured disc in her back last week.
The 50-year-old took to her Twitter account recently to thank fans for their support following the procedure, writing: "Thanks once again for all the good thoughts. Dr. Bray performed a perfect surgery yesterday and I am now safely home in bed."
She later posted a photograph of her Mirror Ball Trophy alongside the message: "Thanks for the good wishes, recovering very well, aided significantly by this item that arrived today."
Grey sustained the back injury during her time on Dancing With The Stars, whereon she was partnered with Derek Hough.
She previously needed treatment for neck injuries she received in a 1987 car accident.
