Lindsay Lohan mum Dina to join 'Dancing with the Stars'?

Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina is reportedly in discussions to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars.

Rumours of Dina competing on Dancing with the Stars began swirling in late 2010, but judge Carrie Ann Inaba suggested at the time that Lindsay herself was a better fit for the ABC reality series.

Dina was apparently overheard telling friends at daughter Lindsay's 25th birthday party over the weekend that she is currently in the midst of negotiations with ABC to appear on an upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, a source told Page Six.

A rep for Dina has not yet offered comment.

The 13th season of Dancing with the Stars premieres in September on ABC.

Lindsay's father Michael recently offered an update on the actress's condition now that she has completed a 35-day house arrest stint, insisting that his daughter is doing "really well" in her attempt to remain sober.

Michael also suggested that his once-troubled relationship with Lindsay is showing steady signs of improvement.
