Quivers told Stern this week that Dancing with the Stars producers asked her to compete on the reality series in the past, but she has refused their offers "three times now".
The radio host said that the travel required would be too demanding because Stern's radio show is broadcast from New York, while Dancing with the Stars tapes in LA.
Producers were apparently so anxious to sign her that they even offered her a private jet to shuttle her between both coasts.
"They said they would get me there; I said, 'No you won't'," Quivers commented.
The star has served as Stern's newswoman and co-host for more than 30 years and has also published the best-selling book Quivers: A Life.
In August, Quivers was the victim of a hit-and-run accident that she claimed "almost killed" her.
