Richard Simmons denies illness rumours

Richard Simmons has denied that he is in ill health.
The fitness guru appeared on Dancing with the Stars this week to help coach Chaz Bono, but some were alarmed by his apparently dramatic weight loss and thinning hair.
Simmons has revealed that he's not battling any illness, but is simply following a new weight loss regiment.

"I have no [health problems]. I take no medication... I've never felt better," he told Entertainment Tonight.
Simmons went on to admit that his hair is thinning, but joked that he's lucky to have any hair at all at age 63.
He teased: "I've had hair transplants, but you can only do so much, so I have 12 hairs left and I just spray them, toss them and make it look like a salad. I'm glad I have hair on my head, you know?"
Dancing with the Stars continues Monday and Tuesday on ABC.
