Karina Smirnoff: 'Dancing with the Stars leaves no time for wedding'

The Dancing with the Stars professional, who announced her engagement in November 2010, was reported on Monday to have halted the couple's marriage plans until they are able to spend more time together.
Smirnoff has since explained to People that her hectic rehearsal schedule with Dancing with the Stars partner JR Martinez leaves her little time to spend with Penny.
"I got an amazing partner and we spend so much time at the studio because we have a great shot at [winning the mirror ball trophy]. And we truly enjoy putting together these great routines," she explained.
"There's absolutely no time. I want to enjoy this and I want to enjoy the wedding and doing it together is just really hard. Once [Dancing with the Stars] is over, we're going to concentrate on the rest of the life."
Smirnoff revealed earlier this year that she and Penny were in the midst of planning a "destination wedding".
