'Emmerdale' star cried over wedding script

Emmerdale actor Nick Miles has admitted that he cried when he first read the script for his character's wedding in the soap.

Miles' character Jimmy King will be seen marrying show girlfriend Kelly Windsor (Adele Silva) in an episode next week.

The scenes will be the last ones for Silva, who is exiting the programme, leaving it open as to whether the pair will actually get to go through with their wedding or not.

Miles revealed: "It’s the best episode I’ve ever read. I cried when I read the script as it was really, really moving. It’s a fantastic episode and a bit of a rollercoaster and for a change the groom is late."

He added: "The big question is whether Jimmy finds out about Kelly’s secret abortion. Scarlett and Carrie both know about it and can Kelly keep quiet about or will she spill the beans through guilt?"
