It's Christmas morning on Albert Square. Max and Tanya are preparing for the family Christmas lunch that they've agreed to host. Max sees that he's supposed to sit next to Stacey, so sneakily switches the name places around on the table. Across the room, the DVD lies under the tree, waiting to be unwrapped…
Meanwhile, Bradley hands Stacey a present. She unwraps it and it's one of his scarves. He blindfolds her it and ushers her out of the house. Outside, Bradley stops Stacey in the street and shows then her present: they're outside a flat – and it's all theirs. He's even decorated a baby's room just in case. Stacey's later stunned to hear that Max paid the deposit.
Ian still hasn't told Jane that Steven's coming for lunch, while Steven's over at Pat's wrapping presents for the family. Steve appears but Jane only agrees to let him stay for one house. Ian, however, fights his cause. As soon as his hour's up, Jane throws him out.
Later, at the Brannings', Dot's obsessed with wanting to watch the Queen's speech, while Stacey's getting broody over baby Oscar. Max heads upstairs to apologise to Lauren for being a bad father. They hug and make up. Max heads downstairs dressed as Santa and starts giving out the presents. He hands Bradley the DVD from Lauren. Lauren tries to stop them from playing it, while Dot moans about not being able to see the Queen's speech.
The DVD is inserted. 'Play' is pressed. The fallout begins…
Elsewhere, Phil presses Jack for more information about Louise; Roxy's sauntering around the Square in a skimpy Santa outfit; the Mitchell's have Christmas dinner at The Vic, complete with Aunt Sal; Jack hands Phil a photo of Louise; Jack and Ronnie share a passionate kiss but Jack soon leaves her wanting more…; and Kevin asks Phil if he has any more cars to sell.
