S01E11: Susan packs her bags and leaves Mark

Mark is furious with Angela for coming round to the house as he is tired of her mind games. But Angela is determined that Susan should know the truth and that she and Mark should be together.

Susan cooks Mark a lovely romantic lunch but gets suspicious when Mark’s mobile rings and he does not answer.

Its Fin’s birthday and the locals arrange a surprise party for him at Waves. Mark splashes out on a sexy new dress for Susan and is ignorant of her resistance to wear it. An evening of tension unfolds at the party when Ian stands centre stage and proposes to Jackie. Brae holds his breath as Ian waits for Jackie’s answer. Jackie makes her decision and Ian and Brae both now know where they stand.

A drunken Charlie is watched over by Narinder. Abi and Jimmy long to be with one another away from prying eyes. Angela stirs things up between Mark and Susan, letting a key piece of information slip to Susan which further inflames her suspicious about his infidelity. Susan leaves the party, to Mark's fury.

Susan calls Dan and they have an emotional heart to heart about the past and what might have been. It’s not too late for them to be together. A furious Mark gets home and realises the extent of what has happened.
