
The 35-year-old actress, who plays Chrissie Williams on the BBC show, gave birth to her second daughter Olivia Kitty Alice Wheeler on Saturday and Quarshie was eager to dedicate the award to Hobley's new arrival.
Speaking after the BBC One show picked up the 'Best Continuing Drama Series' prize at the BAFTA TV Awards, Quarshie said: "I think we should dedicate this award to young Olivier. I think it's only fitting that we should send her at least a replica in chocolate."
Holby City beat EastEnders, The Bill and Emmerdale to claim the BAFTA at Sunday's awards ceremony.
