With Michaela interviewing the happy parents and Tony pouring champagne, Ste is relieved that the lie is over – until Mike turns up and demands to know what's going on. Amy stumbles over an excuse but Mike reveals to the party and a stunned Nancy, that Leah never had leukaemia in the first place. Vilified and outcast, Amy and Ste are forced to leave with their heads hanging in shame…
Nancy's making final preparations for Charlie's homecoming and is delighted when Sarah and Russ offer to go to the hospital with her. Waiting in nervous anticipation for Charlie to be released, Nancy just wants things to get back to normal as soon as possible. At the hospital, Nancy is stunned when Frankie arrives with the social worker, and delivers the news that Charlie will be coming home with her.

Jacqui and Dom remain uncomfortable in each other's company. Tina and Tony pick up on the animosity and insist that they all spend the day together. Much to Jacqui and Dom's disappointment, the challenge is set. At the Dog, Jacqui continues to mock Dom's ideas about the baby and Tina becomes increasingly irritated by the sparring duo. As things come to a head, Tina unwittingly reveals to an elated jack that Tina is pregnant. The trio are stunned as Jack offers his congratulations. Having prepared no answer for the question of paternity, Dom accepts Jack's good wishes and Jacqui is left furious.
Darren tries to cheer up Jack by thinking of inventive ways to make some more money at the Dog. Jack appreciates Darren's attempts at a summer theme, until Frankie returns with baby Charlie. Jack's stunned that she didn't tell him Charlie was coming home, and when Darren points out that he'll be spending even more money looking after the baby, Jack orders Darren to return the Dog to normal.
