5394: Paul's plan backfires

Mia’s concern that Marco is still in love with his ex-wife leads well-meaning Oliver to confront Carmella with his suspicions. Carmella puts the accusations to Marco who denies them. In order to put an end to Mia’s probing, Marco confesses the secret reason he and his wife divorced - he is unable to have children.

Rosie continues to struggle with pregnancy, and Frazer is increasingly frustrated in his attempts to help Rosie through it.

Elle’s fury at Paul for meddling in her life leads to a deep division between father and daughter. Rebecca intervenes, convincing Elle to seek Karl’s help with dealing with the post-traumatic stress she’s been hiding since being trapped in the roof collapse.

Paul struggles with being shut out of Elle’s therapy, and Rebecca is caught in the middle when therapy reveals a deeper level of fear in Elle about Paul, and Rebecca is prevented from telling Paul anything about it. Meanwhile, Riley tries to keep his distance from Elle now that he’s disavowed any romantic interest in her. But his feelings for her are only accentuated by the distance between them.
