Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna hopes that her character will eventually tie the knot with her on-off boyfriend, Calvin.

Speaking to DS at the British Soap Awards, she explained how Calvin (Ricky Whittle) and Carmel are "the perfect couple" and hopes for happiness for the pair.
