2298: Darren agrees to Warren's plan

A nervous and hesitant Darren meets Warren to discuss their plan to get Louise out of prison. With Darren trying to back out, Warren has to step up a gear and reveals to Darren that it was him who killed Sean and warns him that Jack will be in danger unless Darren agrees to help him out. Faced with a no-win situation, a desperate Darren reluctantly agrees to go ahead with their shady plan and, sick with nerves, hides Sean's wallet in Jake's room.

Darren tries to convince Jake that he can help save Jack from bankruptcy and Charlie from being homeless if he will just do one thing. However, Jake is adamant that Charlie needs him and Darren's world collapses as Jake refuses to help him out – his last chance of fixing things gone.

Still unable to forgive Sarah for ridiculing him with Professor Kiddle, Elliot shows no sign of returning to his old self and it looks like his new-found attitude is here to stay. Determined to sort things out once and for all, Sarah reminds Elliot about her own humiliations with her mum's nervous breakdown, Craig's affair with John Paul and Amy's lies about Leah's illness, which touches a nerve with Elliot. Sarah gives him two tickets to the Battlestar Galactica Convention and a touched Elliot asks her to go with him. As he restores his sci-fi posters in his room, it looks as though Elliot's finally back to his old self again.

Nancy and Hannah are feeling positive about the future for the first time in ages but Hannah is frustrated that Nancy still can't forgive Sarah for covering up Amy's lies about Leah. A determined Hannah plots to bring them back together and sets them up with a meeting in The Dog, but her plan backfires when Nancy refuses to talk to Sarah and storms out.

An upset Hannah confides in Danny that she has lost both her best friends now, and, feeling protective of her, Danny angrily confronts Nancy for being so selfish. Realising that she has gone too far, Nancy sheepishly apologises to Hannah and approaches Sarah - the three friends are back together again.

Danny can't wait to tell Hannah about the stand-up comedy night at The Dog that he's going to volunteer for. He reckons he'll be a natural but Hannah isn't convinced and secretly hopes he'll back out. But as Danny becomes more and more enthused, Hannah confides in Nancy that it is his dream to be a comedian and she doesn't know how to tell him it's not going to work. Will Danny be able to prove everybody wrong?
