2300: John Paul and Niall catch each other in the act

Max and Steph are struggling to come to terms with life without each other and each try to put a brave face on things. Steph helps Niall celebrate reaching the final of the hairdressing competition and, sensing how down she is about Max and life at home, Niall takes the opportunity to flatter her ego. A depressed and lonely Max seeks solace in Dom but it only serves to make him realise what a mistake he's made as he sets about trying to win Steph back.

However, Niall's compliments reach out to a disillusioned Steph and the sexual tension between them proves too much to resist… Meanwhile, boosted by having spent a fun-filled day together, and knowing that Niall will be out, John Paul and Kieron head back to Niall's flat for a night of passion. As they get carried away, however, there's a shocking discovery in store for all concerned …

Louise is released from prison, but Warren isn't expecting the reaction he gets from her when she refuses to keep a low profile, even when she finds out from a demented Frankie that Jake has 'confessed' to the murder. Warren is surprised to learn that Justin was the one who came through for him in the end and is taken aback when Justin wants nothing more to do with him.

Caught off-guard when Darren demands he pay up, Warren snaps and refuses to give him the money until he's ready. As Darren frets that his plan is falling apart and Jack is getting worse, Warren realises that Louise has changed, and he's not sure it's for the better…

Frankie is adamant that Jake is innocent and is determined to get to the bottom of his 'confession'. Heartbroken after seeing the level he has been forced to sink to and her family collapsing around her, she vows to Warren and Louise that she won't rest until she gets to the bottom of it – it's not over.
