Bob Hope: there are certainly a few question marks over him. Climbing down the drain pipe of Home Farm just after Tom's death? And then to tell me that he'd been to deliver a message and leave before delivering it? A slight flaw in an alibi if ever I've heard one – and I've heard plenty.

We had no option but to take him in for questioning.
