Lab: head trauma and broken skull

Massive head trauma and a broken skull; that's what the lab told us. Hardly surprising really. They've ruled out suicide, too – shards of glass in the skull and falling backwards. Makes sense. Fibres under his nails, too. Somebody definitely helped him on his way – down and out…

Bob Hope: The first round of questioning opened quite a few doors for us; most importantly a confession that he was at the wedding to see Tom.

A search of the Hope's flat led to some intriguing discoveries, too; Mrs Hope – inadvertently, I think – let slip about the bill-board arson, while we also stumbled upon some sketches and photos of Home Farm…

From the evidence, it's hard to believe that Bob didn't have something to do with the murder. He either killed Tom or knows who did.

And there's something about Jamie Hope's story that doesn't add up, too.
