Les Dennis is joining the cast of Crossroads, according to The Sun today.
Les, who finished second in Celebrity Big Brother last month, will inititally have a one-week stint in the role as smooth-talking Dr Richmond, but if popular could join the cast full-time.
"Les’s character is a really nice, down-to-earth, warm-hearted psychiatrist. I thought this role would suit his character really well," said Yvon Grace, the soap's executive producer.
"The storyline is that he gets involved with maid Beena Shah, who basically becomes a bunny boiler. He is sent in to sort her out.
"Les has been initially cast for around a week’s worth of shows but there is a lot of opportunity for him to become a regular."
