Character left 'fighting for life' after Corrie fire

The upcoming factory fire in Coronation Street may be Adam Rickitt's (Nick Tilsley) last scenes in the ITV1 soap, The Sun reports today.

Nick will collapse while attempting to save Janice Battersby from that fire that she started.

Set to air this April, the storyline will have viewers on the edge of their seats wondering who will survive. The soap bosses won't say whether Nick will die in the blaze.

An insider told The Sun: "Janice goes for a sneaky cigarette to spite Nick when he bans smoking. Viewers will be left wondering if they survive."
