Ex-'Enders' actor to appear in Holby
Nick Bailey, who played Dr. Anthony Trueman in Eastenders, will star in Holby City as a policeman, The Sun reports today.

Doctor Trueman left the square last year after his affair with Slater sister Kat ended in tears.

"Nick was very popular with viewers in EastEnders so the BBC were keen to find other roles for him," an insider told the paper. "He has been wowing the girls on set in his policeman's uniform. If he is a hit he could be signed up for more episodes."

An ex-member of the Corrie cast will also be making an appearance in the BBC hospital drama. Chris Bisson, who played Vikram Desai, will also act alongside Channel 4's Shameless actor Gerard Kearns as his gay lover.

Star Wars' CP-30 actor Anthony Daniels and comic Josie Lawrence will also be appearing in the coming months.
