'EastEnders' star to take a break
Eastenders star Gary Beadle, who plays Paul Truman in the BBC soap, is set to take a two-month break, The Sun reports today.

Insiders report that Gary has been forced to take time off the show following arguments over him not learning his lines and, as a result, was threatened with the sack by Louise Berridge, the BBC's soap executive.

Viewers will see Paul leave Walford soon after Janine Evans is sent to prison after being wrongly accused of Laura Beale's murder.

And insider said: "He should be thankful he still has his job. Gary is a good actor - this must be why producers decided to give him a second chance."

A spokesman confirmed: "He is coming back."
