Ex 'Enders character to return

Michelle Fowler is to return to Walford - but the actress who originally played her won't be back.

Having been in the US for the past ten years, Michelle will come back to save her daughter Vicki from the influence of Dirty Den.

Not returning is Susan Tully, who played Michelle since the soap began in 1985 but now has a successful career as a television director.

An insider told the Daily Star that a newcomer would be cast in the role, in the same way that Kim Medcalf replaced Danniella Westbrook as Sam Mitchell.
