'Enders win was due to 'superior website'

EastEnders triumphed at the British Soap Awards because it had a better looking website, it has been claimed today.
"There were definite appeals on the EastEnders site for fans to vote for their actors in all the categories," a Corrie insider told the Daily Star today.
"There were some strange results. Look at Jessie Wallace (Kat Moon) as Sexiest Female. There are a hell of a lot of actresses in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and even EastEnders itself who are vastly more sexy than she is."
ITV is now said to be planning the launch of a "top class" website for Corrie.
