Coronation Street was the clear leader in the soap ratings last night.

Its standalone Wednesday night outing, in which Tina ended her relationship with David following the court case, attracted 9.68m (43.7%) at 7.30pm.

The later 11pm repeat on ITV2 added a further 235k (2.4%).

Bob's financial woes continued in yesterday's episode of Emmerdale, which was seen by 7.07m (33.8%) at 7pm.

Doctors, meanwhile, attracted 1.84m (26.8%) in its 1.45pm slot with its instalment entitled 'Window'.

Chester soap Hollyoaks averaged 1.7m (8.5%) at 6.30pm, while the first look episode, which saw Sasha continuing to work her magic on Warren, put in 583k (3.1%) at 7pm on E4.

The timeshift transmission an hour later on E4+1 further added 137k (0.7%).

Zeke's discovery of Harold's ill health during last night's 5.30pm episode of Neighbours drew 1.63m (10.8%). Fiver's repeat at 7pm took 256k (1.4%).

Home and Away, meanwhile, attracted 1.12m (6.2%) for Five's 6pm screening, while 565k (3.2%) tuned in for Fiver's first look 30 minute later.
