'The Bill' to air in Canada

In total 80 shows have been packaged into the deal with cable channel Showcase.
The Bill already airs in countries such as Russia, South Africa and Australia. Canada becomes the 43rd country to receive episodes of the 20 year show which attracts an average of eight million viewers in the UK.
Canadian viewers should expect to see episodes of The Bill on their screens from January 2005.
